This Chef position (ANZSCO 351311) is key to maintaining food quality standards, cost control, and customer satisfaction in a vibrant city setting.
Location: Townsville City, QLD
Salary: $76,515 AUD per annum + Superannuation
Plan menus considering seasonal availability and customer preferences.
Estimate food and labour costs and manage kitchen budgets effectively.
Order supplies and maintain appropriate stock levels.
Monitor quality at all stages of preparation and presentation.
Supervise, select, and train kitchen staff.
Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and WHS regulations.
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
3-5 years of relevant work experience as a Chef.
Demonstrated experience in kitchen operations, stock control, and food safety.
Effective communication and team leadership abilities.
Awareness of Indigenous culture and community engagement is highly regarded.
