About the Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Wall & Floor Tiler to join a busy and reputable company based in Darwin, NT. This is a full-time role that offers the chance to work on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, both indoors and outdoors. You will be part of a supportive team and have the opportunity to work in various locations, including occasional travel to remote Aboriginal Communities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for tiling, including screeding, waterproofing, and repairs.
Cut, shape, and lay a wide variety of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, etc.) on internal and external walls and floors.
Work on diverse projects including bathrooms, laundries, splashbacks, and potentially pools.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with exceptional attention to detail.
Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines and schedules.
Use the ServiceM8 app on a mobile phone for job records and scheduling.
Operate and maintain company vehicles and tools responsibly.
Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Wall & Floor Tiler is essential.
A Certificate III in Wall & Floor Tiling is preferred but not required.
Must hold a valid driver's licence and be able to obtain an NT licence.
Ability to obtain an OHS general induction card (White Card).
Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including regular drug and alcohol tests.
Experience with both residential and commercial tiling is highly desirable.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: Starting from AUD $$76,515, or above, based on experience.
Superannuation: 11.5% of your ordinary time earnings, which is scheduled to increase to 12% from 1 July 2025.
Annual Leave: 4 weeks of paid annual leave per year.
Sick & Carer's Leave: 10 days of paid personal/carer's leave per year.
Vehicle: A company vehicle and fuel will be provided for work purposes.

Relocation Assistance: Assistance with migration costs may be available for the right candidate, if required.
Tools: Assistance can be provided to help you purchase your own tools.
Housing: Assistance will be provided to help you find and secure accommodation in Darwin.
